How to Upgrade

This is a Quick Start to upgrading an existing Fta32 Video installation. For detailed information, see How to Install.

• Use Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs to first uninstall Fta32 Video. Do not uninstall any other FTA programs, as these are hardware drivers that do not change.

• If you have a CDROM, go to the Fta32_Video folder and double click Setup.exe: \Fta32\Setup.exe. This will install the new program.

• If you download software, you may have a choice of a zip file or an exe file. Both are archives - the choice depends on what your internet browser prefers. You have to extract the contents, then you will have three files:
  
  Setup.exe
  Setup.lst
  Fta32.cab
  
  These can be placed in any convenient folder on your hard drive. You may choose to keep an archive of upgrades, perhaps putting each in a folder with the Build number on it. For example:
  
  \FtaUpdates\133
  
  Double click Setup.exe to install the new program.
