External Pumps

Two types of external pumps are offered with FTA analyzers:

• peristaltic pumps provide low cost dispense for contact angle work and have disposable fluid paths, and

• syringe pumps provide very high quality dispense and scalability of volume and resolution by selecting the appropriate syringe capacity (diameter).

These pumps are available in single and quad 4-pump configurations. They can be ordered in place of the standard dispenser on new instruments or retrofitted to existing instruments. For a more complete discussion, see the pdf document Comparison of External Pumps.
